How to make your own Java Documentation

Java is one of the most popular Object Oriented Programming languages, to know the nitty – gritty of java we often refer to the java documentation on net.  We can easily create documentation on our own you just have to follow the steps given below.

Prerequisite - User should have the java software loaded on their system

Step 1 – Go to Java Folder in C: drive select the “jdk 1.6.0_12” [using JAVA 6]

Step 2 – Copy the zipped folder “src”[contains the source code of java] to another new folder

Step 3 - Unzip the "src" folder, you will get 6 folders with name "com", "java", "javax", "launcher", "org", "sunw".

Step 4 – Open command prompt and set the path to the folder containing the unzipped “src” folder.

Step 5 – Type javadoc *.java  command, on execution  this command creates a html page with the name 
“Index”  which contains the information for all the java predefined classes and methods.
